Military Obstacles: 15mm Town Buildings

A selection of European town buildings originally created by Mayhem in the UK but currently owned by SHQ Miniatures. The range, now named SHQ Buildings, are cast and supplied under license by Eureka Miniatures in Australia for this part of the world. At least this was all true a decade or so ago!

SHQ Buildings have several European ranges (Central Southern European, North Central European, West Central European) and I have almost certainly got a right mix/mess from these different geographies.  If the 15mm project ever goes anywhere I will need to sort out what I’ve got so that I can order some more and not get duplicates.

THE Church

I am a sucker for churches and windmills. This is one of the former and was a must have pieces as soon as I saw it. Truly an edifice worthy of building a town around.

Gatehouse

A gatehouse with a clock that shows the right time twice a day ... regular as clockwork!

And how grand is it to have a hole/tunnel through a building? I could even have figures march through the tunnel ... if they weren’t based the way I’ve based them. Sob!

Half timbered shop ... maybe

Another SHQ Building from Eureka. It might be the half timbered shop with bow window. I’m not 100% sure. But I am fairly sure! Blush!
